Happy Veterans Day!
Suddenly limits are being implemented on pitch level betting markets. The maximum bet amount is capped and there are no parlays on those bets.
Kyle Hendricks is retiring. I guess that’s one of them thar pitching holes we need to fill. Justin Turner intends to return for his 18th major league season. He’ll be 41 years old.
The Nationals hired Michael Johns as their new bench coach. Marcus Thames is the Royals new hitting coach. The Giants hired Bruce Bochy as a special assistant.
The Rays traded outfielder Kameron Misner to the Royals for a PTBNL or cash. Enoli Paredes got a minor league deal with the Orioles including a spring training invite. Infielder/outfielder Jose Rojas got a minor league deal with the Mets. He also gets an invitation to spring training.

All the veteran love on here is so nice guys.
I’ve had a lot of vets in my family, including my bro-in-law, my dad 25 years active/reserve, may favorite uncle in Vietnam and my great-uncle Walter who died in action in Belgium during WWII.
We must always respect what all of our vets do and have done for us.
Angels add John Gibbons as Bench Coach and Adam Eaton as 1st Base Coach.
Gibbons has fire, reminds me of a Billy Martin, Larry Bowa type. Loves taking the umps head on. I’m down for this hire. Eaton’s fine, Kurt’s bud.
I like the 3 choices so far
Well I already have an edit for my IIWPM series. I wanted Bud Black as bench coach. Looks like that won’t be happening!
So. Suzuki, Gibbons, Maddox and Eaton thus far. Clearly all idiots. I hate their in game decisions and the line ups they keep putting out there….
Arte needs to Fire them all and eat the money!
Happy Veterans Day CtPG. If you have friends/family who’ve served, give them a call/text. I know it’s much appreciated by those close to me and us guys tend not to do the whole reaching out thing that well.
Parlay vous indeed!
with retirement, its time to go on the road to see my team. And with a daughter in NYC, it’s the perfect spot to see them on the East Coast and I’ve yet to visit Yankee Stadium/Citi Field. Last year they played both NYC teams but on different trips (not ideal)I think about the games in April in the Bronx, but seriously with this team?
As they say in NYC, fuhgeddaboudit!
Anyway, back to seeing my team on the road: last year was a nice December trip – saw the Kings play the Islanders on a Tuesday, skipped a trip to see them in Jersey, then saw them play the Rangers on my birthday in MSG – a great trip! And now i’m on another one – after a weekend in NYC with Miss UCD, and a 13-hr train trip, i’m in snowy Montreal to see the Kings play tonight.
THIS pretty much nails how I feel about the Angels right now. Maybe one day I’ll see them play in NYC but today my priorities are elsewhere and my next trip to NY for baseball? Best guess is in 11 years when Trout goes into Cooperstown.

Hinky-Dinky Parlay Vous!
I’ve seen MTL v LA up there in the early 2000s. Don’t be afraid to ask them to “measure this” and/or tell them their last Stanley cup was a fraud! 😉
Last time i saw these two was 1993 SCF, Game 4.
I’m in my yellow Kings sweater and black fedora and standing out like a sore thumb. I caught the Kings pretty much every year in PHX but the NHL took the Coyotes away so now it’s two years in a row I go on the road to catch them. Still haven’t been to Crypto.
I met Youppi! Sitting right next to Kings bench.

That guys has to get like two gigs a year at this point
Good old forum days!
Darned McSorley!! We were gonna go up 2-0, and the Habs tipped the refs to his illegal stick.
Happy Veterans Day to all Vets. Thank you for your service!!
Thanks to all the Veterans today and everyday for that matter! Land of the free and home of the best game in the world baseball!!
In Canada for it, Remembrance Day here, and it’s a bigger deal than in the states because this is their Memorial Day too. Pretty cool to see a parade outside my window with bagpipes and RCMP marching on the snowy streets of Montreal honoring the Canadian soldiers who’ve served and also gave their lives for freedom.
St Jean Baptiste & Canada day are pretty fun up that way too!
A salute to all the veterans. God bless you and happy Veterans Day
