Where to begin? Mitch Farris and Bradley Blalock pitched today. Neither team has any hitters that ever faced their opposing pitcher.

The Rockies went up by two in the bottom of the first but Christian Moore hit a two run homer in the top of the second to tie the game.
Two batters later, Denzer Guzman homered to make it 3-2 Angels.
Bryce Teodosio grounded out to end the top of the second. A Kyle Karros walk and Tyler Freeman single tied the game in the bottom of the second inning.
Nolan Schanuel singled to put a man on in front of Trout, who struckTroutTM. Yoan Moncada grounded into a double play to bring the Rockies back up. Blaine Crim almost homered but Teodosio robbed him.
The Angels go out of the inning without giving up any more runs.
Taylor Ward led off the fourth with a hit. Jo Adell also singled to put two men on in front of Christian Moore, who struck out. Logan O’Hoppe hit into a double play. The Rockies did nothing so the fourth inning was the second scoreless inning in a row.
Denzer Guzman walked to lead off the fifth inning. Bryce Teodosio singled up the middle to drive Guzman to third. Teodosio took second on the throw to third. Do see do your partner. Nolan Schanuel doubled to drive in two. Heck Yeah!
Mike Trout hit one to the warning track to deep center. It was good enough to get Schanuel to third. Yoan Moncada hit a sacrifice fly to score Schanuel. Now it was 6-3 Angels.
Taylor Ward struck out. For the Rockies, Tyler Freemen promptly singled. So did Mickey Moniak. Hunter Goodman walked and Blaine “Angus” Crim sacrificed in Freeman. Brenton Doyle doubled to tie the game. The Angels brought in the legendary Chase Silseth to pitch. He was promptly greeted by a stolen base by Brenton Doyle. Ezequiel Tovar hit a sacrifice fly to put the Rockies ahead 7-6.
After getting out of the fifth inning, the Angels were retired in order to start the sixth inning. Ryan Ritter singled. He stole second base. Tyler Freeman grounded out. Mickey Moniak popped out and Hunter Goodman struck out.
Denzer Guzman struck out to lead off the seventh inning. Bryce Teodocio struck out. Nolan Schanuel grounded out to first. Blaine Crim singled but the Rockies could do nothing with it.
Mike Trout grounded out. It appears number 400 won’t happen today. Jo Adell really got hosed on the second pitch of his at bat. They can’t eject me from a game. “You suck Ump. That pitch was low and away by over a foot.” When the Rockies came up They failed to score any more. The Angels faced a 7-6 deficit going into the top of the ninth inning.
Victor Vodnik came in to pitch. That guy should have a really big black Snidely Whiplash mustache and, of course, a coiled whip on his belt. Nya-A-Aah! Christian Moore flied out. Logan O’Hoppe singled to center. Denzer Guzman flied out. Luis Rengifo came in to hit for Bryce Teodosio. He got hit on the instep somehow that didn’t constitute a hit by pitch. He eventually struck out to end the game. The Angels lost by one run.
