Not sure who else mentioned this previously but, ST is waaaay too long. Approach this like college football, Get started already, Besides, the abrupt start would perhaps favor bad teams like ours.

Have you scene our defense this year ? This shit show is in no position to start a real major league season. I’m holding out hope that the next 3 weeks of practice and experimentation might be enough time to at least upgrade from being the laughing stock of the league

Welp. Nota or Kavadas? Part of me would like to just watch these guys take BP instead of the Angels actual games this year. Can we keep Nota if we don’t put him on the 25 man? Could the two of them combine for 400HR in the PCL?

One of the few positives of this roster is we have alot of options to fill the 2 open roster spots . Among the candidates TA, JD, Kavadas, Nora, Paris & Kingery, Lugo & Camperos, Only TA and JD aren’t on the 40 man roster and don’t have minor league options remaining as both are on minor league deals which I’m sure include preseason and/or early season opt outs.
Of course both TA & JD will need to get added to the 40 man if they make the ODR. But I’m sure Bachman is ready and willing to join his brethren Stephenson & Rendon in the 60 day IL Abyss so that would make at least one spot easy to fill.

Of all the myriad Spring Training story lines, this one, would make my heart skip the biggest beat.
Call me a nihilist (I won’t refute it) but Trout having a monster season would be more fun for me than almost any other team scenario, because let’s face it, this team is middling AT BEST.
Trout turning back the clock one last time would be good enough for me.

First one was a pop up that Tim Anderson inexplicably dropped. 2nd Lugo dove for a ball that he probably should have just fielded on a hop. 3rd, Moniac and Lugo each had poor jumps and the ball fell in between them.
