Toilet bowl round 4 is underway in Chicago. And it rained because it needed a flush or 12. It still stinks, like both of these teams, but the White Sox certainly stinks worse. Even if the Angels lose the rest of their games, they will only lose 99. The White Sox are already at 120. Yeesh.
Anyway, Jack is back and his sinker was whack. He went 7 shutout innings giving up no runs on 3 hits striking out 4 and walking none. Yes it is against the White Sox. But, this does bode well for next year. Who knows, maybe we do have some young SP who are good? I would want an ace to anchor this team though.
Highlighted Recap
This was a pitching duel through and through. Both SP being by far the best players on the team. So much that it took until the 7th, after the White Sox went to the bullpen, to get a run across. And who else but “the OC kid who I still have no idea who he is” Wagaman.
And Lopez give the Angels another run in the 8th.
Unfortunately, the Angels bullpen is also bad and old man Strickland gave up a run
That’s fine the Angels got 2 and a pop up means that it is on to the 9th inn-ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
LOPEZ WHYYYYYYYY
Oh and there goes the lead
And now the Angels are 3 outs from a loss. That quick. Boo.
The Angels lose against the worst team in (modern) MLB history.
Upcoming
2 more in Chicago and then back home for 3 against Texas to end the season. Rev birthday this Saturday at Angel Stadium.
