The Angels Lose 5-4 In A Heartbreaker

The Angels had a relatively good start to today’s game. In the top of the second inning, Anthony Rendon started the scoring by hitting a double to drive Kevin Pillar home. 1-0 Angels. I am faced with a scarcity of videos I can embed today.

After Niko Kavadas walked, Jo Adell doubled to drive in two. Taylor Ward singled to drive in Adell. 4-0 Angels. Below is the Adell double.

In the fourth inning the Angels gave up two runs and they gave up another run in the sixth inning to make the score 4-3 Angels. Ben Joyce faced the meat of the Toronto order in the eighth inning and Roansy Contreras came in for the bottom of the ninth. The score was still 4-3 Angels. Contreras gave up a homer to his first batter, Joey Loperfido. 4-4 tie. Then he gave up a walk-off homer to Addison Barger. Oops! The Angels lose 5-4.

Really digging the pitching profiles for Sori and Silent C (obviously Sori’s sample size is much larger). Inducing groundballs at the clip they both do is exciting.

Dark days. Had behind plate tix tonight to Doyers given to me from friend, Sent wife and kids but I declined. Our old buddy Easy Way is at 40/40 in blue. Nice of him getting to be a good base stealer, with us got nailed too many times. In the end who cares, Fk that team. Stay true to the A team, travel if you can to experience MLB outside Anaheim stadium. Don’t let one self centered $$ organization across town ruin your love for the game. Go Halo

lol oh come on. Sure he only stole 57 bags for us in his final 3 seasons with us. Maybe coulda been more if he wasn’t busy pitching too.

I know it’s Dodgers, but that’s a pretty epic moment to witness in-person for your kids. I’m sure they’re grateful.

Theoretically Toronto would have gotten runs off Contreras in the 8th, we wouldn’t have scored in the 9th and then Joyce wouldn’t have pitched at all

I was working out during the 8th and 9th up 4-3 and checked the 9th to see 4-4. Before I could say WTF, the page refreshed and the game was over 5-4. Talk about a testosterone downer. Thanks Angels 👊🏻

Duplex neighbor broke in, then ran when my duplex neighbor spotted them while the MP’s were going though doing the neighborhood checks at the same time. Fun times! I work directly for the post commander so this should be fun Monday… wild week here as a house on the street next to us burned down earlier this week.
