Bahstun fan won’t have quite all day to drink before this one, but definitely more than enough time to get hammered.

Canning’s start is disappointing, or maybe abysmal, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I missed today’s game because I went out to Costco.

Looks like I made a good choice… and I got free samples too.

My wife doesn’t let me get near that snack area. 😄

Long ago I used to like getting their smoothie, but we realized how much sugar was packed into it and that ended.

Did you also go to Home Depot and Bed Bath & Beyond?

No, why? They don’t even have BBB here anymore anyway.

We need a Detmers and Anderson version of this poem.

First, we’ll use Spahn,
Then we’ll use Sain,
Then an off day,
Followed by rain.
Back will come Spahn
Followed by Sain
And followed,
We Hope,
By two days of rain.

Or our version

Tanana and Ryan and two days of crying.

I preferred the UCLA version of Canning

Didn’t realize Brad Fullmer was still around.

That’s somewhat debatable.

So many dinkers for them today.

Hey, we got one of those “low” calls.

This ump is getting sloppier and worse as the game goes on. He’s forcing us to swing at everything.

Maybe we can stretch out Fullmer to the rotation while Canning figures it out or spends some time on the IL.

Neto isn’t letting his hitting affect his fielding. Nice play.

This ump really blows. That was one of the worst calls ever. Closer to the dirt than the strike zone.

That guy took a strange path to his injury. Good thing he got the 2024 version of Sano minus the 60ish pounds he lost.

Well we see what sano brings to the team now. He hurts the other players

When do we release hicks and sano. Not soon enough I say

Needs to play Adell and Moniak more Sano and hicks don’t bring anything to this club while Adell and Moniak are young

This ump wants to go home, he has insanely expanded the strike zone against us.

I don’t like Sano pinch hitting in the 5th and really don’t like Trout striking out.

I think Schanuel kind of suffered a nut cracker in his last at bat.

Sano wasn’t pinch hitting, he was defensive replacement for Schanuel who probably is now injured.

Glad we didn’t hold onto Walsh, after all he would have signed for the same money as ….

Cowboy, I know you’re not going to believe this coming from me, but Rendon has recently become one of our better hitters. His fielding and body language have been a lot better too. I wonder if the new staff has helped him.

Ha ha You’re Probably right ML , but, I know you’re not going to believe this from me but I now have deep concerns over his lack of power . I feel like his legs are weakening and he cant drive the ball now. In fact I posed the question to myself (I know I need to get a life) but would a high OBP singles hitting average defensive third baseman with no speed have any demand in todays game if he was just coming up? Probably not.Right?

but then again, hopefully its not because I just enjoy being a contrarian all the time?

Hah. I just wanted you to know I’m not the hater you think I am. I just want our team to be good, or at least as soon as they can be. Nothing wrong with being a contrarian. I’ve got that it me too.

I’m with you on the power. There’s been a few warning track flies already that might have gone out pre-2019. If it turns out he’s what you say he is (I think you’re right), that may be a decent outcome until we can get out of the contract. Mainly, his demeanor is better, and he seems to be a decent teammate this year. Leading him off in front of Trout and Ward may be the best way to use him going forward, although I was against that idea initially.

No actual argument from me. Just pointing out the cup is about 1/4 to 1/8th full.
