Angels got the W but the problem is this offense is streaky and not very consistent or overly impressive..

I think they play down to their competition quite a bit.

That might be part of it. Dodgers are having trouble at home against the lowly Phillies and also lost last nights game to them..

Right? This team sucks. I expect them to score 12 runs every darn night. Or at least 11
I don’t know what’s wrong with this team

Houston has had a very soft schedule the last couple of weeks. They’ll come back to reality.

Let’s hope so, but yeah 11 in a row, the streak won’t last too much longer.

They have a couple in Boston, and it’s soft again well into June.

Houston is going to be trouble all season. Angels have to win games and series against bad teams..

Houston is good. I don’t like them but they are better than last year.

Without Correa?

Correa can’t stay on the field. He’s hurt in Minnesota already.

Let’s see the Angels win 11 in a row………

His replacement, Pena, is better in the field. Verlander is back and doing well. Solidifies the rotation. Tucker has yet to get rolling.

Tucker is on a roll now, got his average up to .250. Was under .200 not to long ago. Did not know Pena was a better fielder, impressive. Verlander may win the CY again the way he has started.

They have very good starters this year too, but right now they are not facing good pitching teams. The lineup is hitting the cover off, but they will slow down when we play them. I don’t know about their pen though.

Angels offense not impressive but they played against a lousy team so it didn’t matter.
Not sure about a sweep…….

what an incredible difference from last year’s pitching. No Slegers, Claudio, Selman, Cishek, Naughton.
