Rangers @ Angels 05/25/2021 Gamethread

Since the Upton-at-leadoff experiment didn’t collapse into a flaming explosion, it looks like it will be tabbed again.

I really appreciate the broadcast tonight more than any this season.

Would you still be saying that if we had lost 11-5 tonight?

Lagares was a good sign. He looks like a better hitter than his time with the Mets.

But does he have a Gold Glove and can he pitch?

Not sure he’s a better eater though.

Angels trying to give it away again, Strickland can’t miss bats. Our “D” this year is surprisingly poor.

Proof?

Funny, but 2 passed balls and one error might stand up in court, unless Perry shows up, Perry Mason.

Perry is still a Platypus. Has earned the Mason yet

Strickland trying to erase the “deficit”… he’s an undercover agent for all of our opponents.

Double play is Strickland gets out of the way.

Damn Slacker!

Watch next game how Rendon sets up, then as the pitch is made he is late going into position to hit the ball. He may have been previously successful with that way to hit, but he is now not quick enough.

’79 Halos team…my 2nd favorite team after ’02!

We had our first MVP in Baylor. My favorite is 82 thru 86, still hate the Red Sox to this day and Donnie Moore was never the same again.

We went to games frequently whenI was a kid, so ’79 had players I “grew up” with. ’82 and ’86 was heartbreaks. I loved the teams, but was not a big fan of Mauch. All Angels fans will ache for what happened to Donnie Moore.
