Ohtani & Walsh HRs Deliver Heaney the W

Shohei Ohtani hit a 117 MPH HR on an inside pitch that saw the quickest turn of a pair of wrists in the history of human civilization. Okay maybe just in organize baseball. IT was a three-run homer and was the floodgate-opener in a rare 2021 laugher at Angel Stadium (laughin’ with them not at them).

Jared Walsh added some awesome sauce earlier in the game with a 2-run HR. All of this helped Andrew Heaney get a W and even if pitching Wins is so “last century” as a stat, the poor guy could use a break, let him enjoy the old school stat and the team their 21st win of the 2021 season, okay? Okay!

Final Score: Angels 11, Texas Rangers 5 and it wasn’t really even that close.

Bad News: Jose Iglesias, finally getting locked in at the plate, left with what the team is calling a hamstring cramp mid-game. Iggy lost time last season with bad hammies. Ugh.

Even Trout and Sho have had their mini-slumps, but Walsh seems to be hitting FOREVER.

Even the Hanson Bros. Slugers, Claud and Horshack are pitching better lately. We might even get to .500 some day.

Upton with a solid shot to take the lead.

Knowing the Angels, his cramp is really a pull and he’s out for 2-3 weeks.

2 wins in a row! Once in a “super blood moon” we win 3 in a row.
Celebrate with Shufflebot would be nice.

Going into this season we all thought that Trouty and Rendon would lead us to the playoffs. Shohei and Jared are leading us even though playoffs are not in the picture currently. I think we will win ever night but I never thought we’d win with crazy line ups. Fun time tonight so let’s turn it up a tick tomorrow night.
