They are dealing with that right now. My seats got moved closer to home, but further back. It probably all depends on how many season holders drop their seats due to the moves.
John and Cowboy thanks for this those replies!!
If you can’t make any games I’d love to buy your tickets off you! My only other option is stubhub/seatgeek
My son has been fortunate enough to get to ST and many games (we are only 20 min away from the Big A) but my daughter hasn’t had a chance to do anything with sports since going to the NFC championship game in 2020.
They surveyed the season ticket holders last week and about 60% to 70% said they will take tickets this year even if it means they will need to be relocated to meet social distancing guidelines. So far ,the angels are only addressing April games but I suspect it will remain this way through most all of the season. We met with the ticket rep on Tuesday and , sure enough, we will have to move from our current location and break our 4 seats up into 2 “pods”. I don’t know if everyone will still want season tickets in the proposed configurations during this temporary relocation plan. if not then they will sell them on a game by game basis. the Ticket rep said that initially they will not open up the view level until higher capacity amounts are allowed. he wasn’t sure about the impacts to concessions other than there will be options (probably limited) for everyone. He also said that as of now the suites are still off limits so obviously ticket revenues will still be adversely impacted in the near future.
Hopefully they adjust your paid amount if they push you into a different level. They told us it would be the same price if it was somewhere else in the same section even if it was further away from home plate. I asked him if they will have another re-spacing of seats and a new relocation program if the stadium capacity gets increased to 33% or 67% . he said no. He said they would just open up additional sections of the stadium but considering there are no hard and fast guidelines I’m not sure how that would work. he was adamant that it was “all or nothing” meaning you will either be sitting in your relocated seat location or in your original seats if/when there are no stadium restrictions.
Ya, they moved me from 409 to 518, but he said that the 408-410 sections weren’t available at all, so I assume that the view level seating is just behind home plate. I just keep the cheap seats these days in case they get into the playoffs pretty much.
Yeah, I think they are a couple bucks less per ticket. They weren’t allowed to move anyone into higher prices, so it kind of limited the options to either upper view or in the outfield lol.
It’s gonna be a little odd but I have to admit, a larger % of angels fans, going to the bathroom without missing anything (between innings like you’re supposed to) gets me kinda excited to go to some games this year.
Pitchers game thus far. Let’s get it going on the hitting side before the subs come in!
I’m playing catch up on TV… how is listening to Perry in the booth? Saying anything of importance?
Ah, you remember too when Doggett would do the middle 3 innings sandwiched between Scully. Never missed not having an analyst or color guy. Not a fan of a 3-person booth at all.
I like this lineup today (Fowler in RF meh). Interesting to see Walsh batting 3rd (assuming lefty bat put him there) when albertross has been hitting 6th?
Definitely excited for this lineup today tho. Anyone know the innings?
We get to listen to perry minasian today during the 2nd and 3rd innings
I assuming she’s referring to that wandavision show which is new… but may very well be a reboot of something old?! I dunno what’s original these days and not
Is that a good show? I don’t do fantasy/marvel stuff that well. Prefer to watch my sports, docs, crime, and nature stuff but would be willing to try it out if it comes recommended.
Well my hope is that I don’t peter out by may/June because of their play.
Hoping to get to some games and possible meet ups though. I’ve learned being an Angels fan through the years can be a lonely place.
You’re kinda right… but it is really easy to see just his highlights on a night in-out basis.
I named my boy Nolan Michael ____ so I’ll let you guess who my favorite 2 angels players of all time are 🙂
That’s awesome! Means you can form your own opinion on whoever’s play. I got two really little ones right now so if the TV is even on I can’t get away with much more than 30 mins of sports at a time.
If you like crime, watch the Netflix show on the Night Stalker. My brother in law is in it, very briefly, in the last episode- Lt. Richard Walls, LASD.
Awesome rec, I liked it a lot! Can’t believe some women liked the guy and came all dolled up to court for him. Cool to have family as a reference for something like that.
I did just watch Tolkien (I liked hobbit and lord of the rings… maybe because I saw them at imax theater) so that would be one rec for this group as of now.
Haha I was wondering when I was going to get called out. I signed up for this site when it first debuted, so I was either gonna claim to be a prophet if correct or dyslexic… we now know which is true :-/
ok. 7 and 4. Let’s see…if we do that over the course of the season…104-58? something like that.
I have no idea if we’ve already won or not. I’d like to express my dissatisfaction with the variable lengths of these games.
Nor a huge Teri fan but am impressed with how he is solely handling calling every pitch this Spring.
Ok, I am reading this score update on my phone, I had to look Scott Schebler up? Never heard of him.
Is Walsh going to get crushed by the shift this year?
Fletch!!
Coming through!!!
Please don’t end in a 0-0 tie!
So, I guess about 9000 capacity to start the season.
Is it going to be all season ticket holders or what’s sold on the third market?
They are dealing with that right now. My seats got moved closer to home, but further back. It probably all depends on how many season holders drop their seats due to the moves.

In Green Bay?
San Francisco
Thats right. Man that seems like forever ago.
Yeah shit went south pretty much after the SB. Doesn’t seem like that was 14 months ago.

My relos are in the (upper) view level. I think down the lines are blocked off after a certain point.
Hopefully they adjust your paid amount if they push you into a different level. 411 is always a go to section for me. Odd they moved you 518… I too hope you’re not paying as much.
Yeah, I think they are a couple bucks less per ticket. They weren’t allowed to move anyone into higher prices, so it kind of limited the options to either upper view or in the outfield lol.

This ain’t gonna end well.
Someone should tell the people on the grass that they’re supposed to stay in the squares.
Pitchers game thus far. Let’s get it going on the hitting side before the subs come in!
I’m playing catch up on TV… how is listening to Perry in the booth? Saying anything of importance?
at the risk of jinxing Q, I’m liking what I’m seeing
I just texted Terry to tell Perry to get some heat for the bullpen. Too many soft tossers.
the scrubs would have scored twice
Can’t complain with that lineup. Let’s gooo! And Terry in the booth. Spring perfection.
Yay another terry fan… unless you’re messing with me again 🙂
I like him calling games better than Jose.
Jose is ok. I like that he has a great connection with Spanish speaking players. Less is more with the on field commenting tho.
Yeah he’s great at what he does, i’m sure he’ll even be good as the third man in the booth this year.
I like Terry, has some warts but like his voice.
Terry reminds me of Jerry Doggett. He’s a decent number 2 guy and fine for 3 innings as a change of pace, but we really need a better number 1.
Ah, you remember too when Doggett would do the middle 3 innings sandwiched between Scully. Never missed not having an analyst or color guy. Not a fan of a 3-person booth at all.
I think the 3 person is just on TV. So we get Jose and Gubi in the same booth both jabbering on. Oh well.
I like this lineup today (Fowler in RF meh). Interesting to see Walsh batting 3rd (assuming lefty bat put him there) when albertross has been hitting 6th?

Curious about your screen name Angels2020Champs. Did I miss something?
I blame Wanda Maximoff.
any cultural reference past 1970 escapes me
I assuming she’s referring to that wandavision show which is new… but may very well be a reboot of something old?! I dunno what’s original these days and not
She has a tendency to bend reality to her will. So I guess she’s an Angels fan!
Is that a good show? I don’t do fantasy/marvel stuff that well. Prefer to watch my sports, docs, crime, and nature stuff but would be willing to try it out if it comes recommended.
I thought it was fantastic.
Cool, thanks for the rec… I’ll check it out and let you know
I’ll be here all season 😉
Well my hope is that I don’t peter out by may/June because of their play.
Hoping to get to some games and possible meet ups though. I’ve learned being an Angels fan through the years can be a lonely place.
Even when they’re out of it there’s always something to watch. Gotta enjoy every game Michael Nelson Trout takes the field.
You’re kinda right… but it is really easy to see just his highlights on a night in-out basis.
I named my boy Nolan Michael ____ so I’ll let you guess who my favorite 2 angels players of all time are 🙂
I am not. If i’m home, the game is on. Even if they are 20 games out in sept.
That’s awesome! Means you can form your own opinion on whoever’s play. I got two really little ones right now so if the TV is even on I can’t get away with much more than 30 mins of sports at a time.
Ah, yeah, that makes sense. No kids here. And my wife usually works late so I have many free evenings.
If you like crime, watch the Netflix show on the Night Stalker. My brother in law is in it, very briefly, in the last episode- Lt. Richard Walls, LASD.

Sounds like a Rocky and Bullwinkle villain.
