Never understand the rationale of not playing someone because you believe they will eventually experience a regression. Why not take advantage of them while they’re hot and then if they regress, you can sit them. Meckler and Siri have both significantly out performed most of the others on a team that has very little offense. Meckler has 146 PAs and is still the 2nd best hitter on the team other than Trout. It’s not just a little bit. Relative to the league, Meckler is hitting over 50% better than Lowe and he is not a defensive liability, and he is a good base runner. It absolutely defies logic.
