They think the Angels should look to the future. On that topic, Here is the Angels Trade Big Board. Trey Mancini passed through waivers unclaimed and he was outrighted to Triple-A. We will see whether he accepts or rejects the assignment. (Edit: He elected free agency). The Angels designated Nick Madrigal for assignment. Jorge Soler is reinstated from the ten day IL.
Several Angels are getting enough votes to appear in these All Star standings, but not enough votes to get in. Mike Trout is the exception, coming in at second among American League outfielders.
