Give me the Angels
Angels vs Royals Game 2
I completely forgot about today’s game as I’m watching UFC, but, I didn’t miss much if the box score is any indication.
Speaking of which, I see that Neto had another banner day at leadoff. If they’re unwilling to move Trout to leadoff, they should consider Peraza. Neto is NOT a leadoff hitter – too streaky and doesn’t walk enough.
Also, I hope they continue to reduce Schanual’s playing time. Dude is regressing.
When is Rada getting the call? It’s time.
I was at this game. Right behind the dugout. Infuriating game. Suzuki needs to learn a thing or two. God I’m pissed lol. I met Sam Bachman’s uncle though.
The worst game of the year, by far. Particularly against the lowly Royals. Awful.
Royals have been underperforming. I’d gladly trade Anaheim’s lowly team for KC’s.
What’s frustrating is after a game like this players should be chewed out for poor play and challenged to be better. That never happens here. Poor play is just accepted.
Suzuki is one of those managers that wants to be the players’s friend. It doesn’t work when the team is so bad.
I’m not real impressed with the job he’s done this year, but this team would make anyone look bad.
I’m not so sure about that…. A really good hitting coach and manager would help alot here. More importantly, a UNIFIED OFFENSIVE PHILOSOPHY that the manager and hitting coach implement and practice !!
This umpire has the worst strike zone I’ve seen in the ABS era. Each team would need about 20 challenges to keep this game clean.
I do think generally that the umpires have called balls and strikes pretty well but the system now exposes those that are terrible, but there are no consequences.
Ghost runner, widening the bases and now the ABS. Poor rule changes in my assessment. Pitch clock has turned out well.
They’re worried about Romano being available for tomorrow? That’s the joke of the day!!
Season won loss records mean nothing in April. Washington last year managed the team to an 40-40 record before he stepped away. Guess how it ended up…
Every win or loss in April counts the same as of they were in August or September. The fact is the Angels open every season for years now at .500 or below .500 after first month. They don’t build up a positive win/loss record for future slumps. Every year they put themselves in a hole.
