What are we now 14 games under .500 ? This doesn’t mean shit , and it doesn’t make up for Suzuki being the primary blame for getting swept on road trip to Kansas City and Chicago AND getting swept back to back by Guardians and Dodgers, AND losing 3 straight to A’s mostly because he used suckass Kirby Yates and other shit relievers when he should not have…
I know it is sarcasm but I just had to take the opportunity to say this …..
Whoa whoa whoa, so when a pitcher makes it clear he has no command, you don’t have to let him throw 30 pitches and put the game out of reach? The Rays are seriously allowed to take him out before a run has actually scored?
Both the A’s and Angels had a shit sandwich Sunday today – both had won four games in a row before today.
Anyone thinking of going to see them play each other next weekend for Father’s Day? It’s Jacob Wilson bobblehead night on Saturday (my wife’s favorite player), so we’re thinking of flying up to West Sac for the Sat-Sun games next week.
In general I very much agree with this point TT. However, I don’t think it is an absolute rule. For example, if I pitch 15 innings without walking the leadoff man, and then in my 16th inning of work I do walk him, does that mean I am not right for the role ? I would not say that is the case…. If somebody pretty regularly walks the leadoff guy, then sure, I would say it is demotion time.
Neto is jumping out of his skin to try and hit it a mile. Just relax and hit the damn ball. They could send him down and the team would instantly get better.
Teams need way more than 2 challenges. They don’t take that long and it’s obvious the umps still make a TON of mistakes.
Damn, there has to be a new ABS sombrero for striking out and wasting both of your team’s ABS challenges in the same at bat.
Yeah, frustrating. Hadn’t seen that done yet.
At least it was an important situation… it is not like he took them with two outs and nobody on base etc…
Suzuki needs to be gone yesterday.
Why? The Halos have been on a winning streak solely due to Suzuki’s decision making.
I really hope this is sarcasm.

Absolute sarcasm. However, it was directed specifically at MH25. He comes here and just blasts the Halos. Nothing is ever actually constructive.
Oh my, Peraza
honestly the pitcher just pained and with the bases loaded, I don’t have a problem with those challenges.

Kurt: 3 walks is nothing; it’s merely a flesh wound.
Remember when the score was 5-3 and we were still in the game? Yeah those were good times.

So Silseth looked decent and threw 10 pitches. Bachman looks like shit and throws 30
The Susucki way.
If this guy hits a homerun it’s a 7 run inning, how the f do you let a reliever give up 7 runs?
Nice time to sh*t the bed Bachman.
He’ll be cleaning those stains for weeks.
Would the Angels be better if Perry just never made any deals?
When a guy throws 100 mph why is he throwing breaking balls and changeups right in the middle of the zone?
Slick fielding by Guzman today. Guy’s got some range.
Don’t pull Bachman, Kurt, he’s doing so well.
Dear Kurt, the above comment was sarcasm. Good job managing the pen.
Oh, and that comment was sarcastic as well.
Et Tu, Bachman?
Simple truth: if you’re a late reliever, and you walk the leadoff man, you’re not right for the role.
Don’t walk the leadoff man.
We just don’t have a late reliever in this Minasian blowpen..
Blowpen is an understatement today.

Ballgame. Still a decent homestand.

Nice play, Nolan.
So, our worst hitters are Neto & Trout.
Sigh…
Peraza is struggling right now too.
