We’ve issued 6 BBs in 4 innings, so we’re right on schedule. I’m looking forward to seeing what Maddox can do over time and finding out once and for all if it’s bad coaching or bad players.

And, we’ve also Kd 8 times in 4 innings so the hitters are also right where they need to be. I think we have a fairly respectable coaching staff so if the team continues to issue BBs and K too often, we just have bad players.

Serious question – if the Angels do finish with the worst record in the league – do they get the #1 pick in next year’s draft? I know the baseball draft is different than the NFL.

The first six picks are determined by lottery, with the odds of selection weighted by the previous season’s record. Good chance the Angels will have one of the worst six records in the MLB, though, and will have a *chance* at securing pick #1.

Every player should give two flying ducks about what Moreno says about winning. All these guys should perform to win. Arte sucking and everyone else GM on down sucking are two separate entities. Iām tired of the cop outs and excuses tbh.

Two dink singles opposite the shift ā¦ Soriano canāt get out of the inning with 2 outs and Maddux comes out after the walk. Love this a real coach regardless of what happens. Maddux has to come in and say āenough just throw a strikeā. First pitch strike .

Too many pitches already for Soriano. Gives up the opppo hit. Needs to learn how to finish at bats. Glad Maddux is seeing this now. Alsoā¦ Moncada is terrible at 3B. No range. Would rather have Peraza there, Moncada DH.
