I definitely loathe the Red Sox more than the Yankees. However, I will root for Toronto either way tomorrow.
So, I guess the fun lies either in having NY’s season ended in their own ballpark by Boston or by Boston choking away a chance to eliminate NY.

It’s not just us! Bryce Johnson for San Diego just gave a classic example of bunting incompetence. 1st and 2nd, no outs. He put the bat out three times, pulled it back and was caught looking. Each pitch was “oh my gosh, if he’s bunting why didn’t he make an effort to bunt?”

“The Angels are reportedly considering a familiar face for their managerial opening, with MLB Network insider Jon Heyman reporting on Wednesday that Albert Pujols will be among those to interview for the job. The Angels have not confirmed the news.
The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal reported that Pujols is believed to be Angels owner Arte Moreno’s leading choice to be the team’s next manager”

Honestly I’m pretty ambivalent about the SD vs. Cubs series. I have good friends who are SD fans so I’m rooting for them a bit, but would be perfectly fine with the Cubs winning that one.
And I’m going to root against the Yanks/Sux winner in the next round so I’m not all that passionate about that series.
