First 7 PM home start of the season. Need to really make sure it is dark for fireworks.

When O’Hoppe swings at everything he becomes ineffective.

Bachman got the save tonight for the Bees, btw.

Bachman, Stephenson and Natera Jr available to call up, and Minasian chose the 21 yr old starter with an 11 ERA in May.

That was a quickly killed rally. That pretty much spells our luck in this one. Start a new win streak tomorrow.

Dana is not ready for the MLB. He had surrendered 14 ERs in his past 6 innings in AAA, and has a 10.95 ERA in May. Hasn’t been in control in a month.

Haven’t a clue why they brought him up now. He’s been truly struggling this month at Salt Lake.

I thought salt lake was a pitchers park tho :p

Chasm of sar aside, I agree… shouldn’t have been called up.

I mean, I watched those games – it wasn’t the elevation plaguing him. Like tonight, he had no fastball command, and his secondaries were inconsistent. Delivery not consistent either.

And just because it worked with Neto and so-so with Schanuel, the rushing to the big leagues wreaks with desperation.

Neto’s call-up was deserved – he was hitting .400/.520/.850 in the upper minors when they promoted him.

I’m thinking he’s waved the white flag at this point. Letting Dana eat a couple of innings.
