Hopefully the players took a walk in Capitol Park on this trip. It is absolutely beautiful, especially when everything is in full bloom. I lived half a block away and spent many evenings wandering through it.

He cant be sent down hes hoping that Lugo or Paris get sent him down when Mike returns but I could see him riding the pine ALOT going forward especially if Soler heats up since that only leaves centerfield open.

Yeah, of course. Either Mike or Soler will be at DH. And that leaves three OF spots for say Trout, Ward, Paris, Lugo, and Adell. I suspect Lugo will be sent down. But Paris looks like he may be turning a corner, back to his solid approach at the plate.

So maybe it comes down to Jo vs Paris. We’ll see.

As much as I enjoy the Angels taking it to the As this series, I also like this young As team. Wilson, Kurtz and Butler are fun players.

If we hold onto this game the worst we can do on the road trip is 7-3. That is pretty damned good considering six of those games were against the Padres and Dodgers. Just need three more outs ….

Apparently they started using data to show the guys their batted ball hard hit zones.. so they now better understand pitch selection and what pitches to hunt. Nolan said this was the change that got him going.
