slider and curve were solid, 96 mph FB, good composure. Nice inning for Reid. Give him the 8th

Why from my recliner did I know Jo should’ve stopped running, and he didn’t ?

Lack of situational awareness on the bases which we have seen before.

What was Adell doing. Idiot. Don’t run into the out. Stop

A’s beating the fraudgers, I really don’t mind the A’s as much over Seattle and Houston. Good enough day in baseball for me.

Well you always have to spot the other team the inevitable 3+ runs the blowpen will give up. So if your going the optimistic route you have to hope the Angels will score 6 more minimum. The plight we face is real

I would prefer that Adel, Paris, and Lugo play every day for the rest of the season. If they’re terrible, so be it, they won’t be back next year. I’m fine with Anderson filling in as needed, but he is not even potentially part of the future. The Angels may have to resign Moncada if they don’t acquire a 3B before next year or have a minor leaguer step up.

ha! I was just thinking we might avoid that 10 mark but then I figured we’ll boost the total in the late innings as our lads swing for the fences

Sucks that Nolan didn’t get a pitch to hit.

Other teams are smart ; they know who their opponents good hitters are and don’t let themselves get beat by those guys…

The Angels on the other hand …..

We all know lugo will be a flash in the pan but it’s still cool to see a young guy have his moment especially on such a shitty team

Whatever he beomes or doesn’t become, he should have been in the lineup for Paris a couple of weeks ago…

I think in the long run, Christian Moore will overtake Paris on the depth chart.

Not as a defensive player. I don’t think Moore will ever be a 2B long term in MLB, assuming he fixes his hitting.

Might be a good idea to have the Doyer eye Dr check him out. My guess he can’t see, would explain how horrible he is with the glove.

He isn’t ready and Paris is here, may as well throw him in the lineup or send him down… I’m interested to see what adjustments he can make, glove has been ok,

We never should have signed Anderson and Newman. Useless

JackFrost

I would be okay with that. But giving Paris a couple days off is smart, I think. He is pressing right now. He needs to relax and take some pitches… don’t swing at frickin everything and don’t swing so damn hard !

A week ago, Paris was 5-16 over a 5 game stretch with a 2B, a HR, and 2 BBs, so this week yes, last week no.

I’m happy to see Paris sitting tonight as last night was a terrible effort by him and a bad game for O’Hoppe. I would like for the team to take advantage of Lugo’s hitting while he’s doing it just like I was with Paris. Paris has played excellent defense both in CF and 2B and actually leads the team in defensive runs saved. He needs to get his hitting fixed.

Of all the people to choke in that situation I would not expect Neto …

This guy isn’t that bad… Came into the game with an ERA around 3.19, I think.

They were talking about his numbers, and there’s a lot of luck in that ERA.

Maybe, but he’d be somebody I’d take in our rotation any day of the week. Trade him for Hendricks right now and I’d even throw in Newman !
