I really love this facility. The back fields were renovated a few years ago and are set up nicely. I highly recommend a visit.

Denzer Guzman. I know the goal for him is to try and make him NOT uppercut everything, but do we really want him to stop doing that?….. sigh, yeah probably.
Cole Fontenelle is a beefy boy and it made me happy he got a hit. Kavadas, also even more beef, also a hit. even when he hits for an out I am scared for the fielder. He will likely need to go to AAA. Maybe the outfield experiment will work out there and he’ll keep building command of the strike zone? Add Nota to the mix…. lots of beef!
It’s way to early to be sure but I think McDanials may McLefty his way into saving all your tender little parts from having to watch Suarez. Perry was clearly stupid picking that guy up. Burke, Quijada and McLefty…. not a bad LHRP group….
Lugo is probably a hall of famer….
Soriano’s stuff still looks good. Man he throws hard for a guy who looks like he’s barely trying. You’d never know his arm is 15% cadaver.

Yeah, he followed Adell’s mistake with an absolute gem.
Really hope he gets to repeat AA and shows improvement this season. If TBW’s comp of Denard Span proves true, the Angels outfield looks pretty good for the next run.

Definitely something the Angels haven’t had in CF since prime Trout (defensively better, really).
Think folks are seeing in these early games why it’s way too early to give up on kids like Rada and Guzman, who were absurdly young for AA last year.
