OK. So I am presuming neither Logan O’Hoppe nor Chase Silseth is available for tonight’s game.
In the first, Zach Neto walked. Mike Trout doubled to send Neto to third (Noice). Nolan Schanuel lined out for the first out and then Vaughn Grissom doubled to make it 2-0 Angels.
A wild pitch advanced Grissom to third. Jo Adell then singled to make it 3-0 Angels.
Houston kept pecking away at this lead one run at a time.
In the sixth and seventh innings the Astros scored four runs. The Angels got one in the bottom of the eighth.
Christian Walker reached in the ninth on an error by Vaughn Grissom. Taylor Trammel singled. Yainer Diaz singled to make it 7-4 Houston.
Siri groundout. Heineman groundout. Zach Neto flied out to right. The Angels lost 7-4.

This is the worst month of baseball in Angels history. The 2002 Angels started 6-14. Yeah 6 -17 this month is worse.
Another milestone foe this bunch! Drum roll please….this i
The Angels are 6-17 in July. With the Brewers headed to Anaheim, the Halos could be at 70 losses by Sunday night.
At the Cypress Hill show tonight, but didn’t miss much, apparently.
Though it’s nice to see Grissom & Adell doing well in the RBI department. Credit where due.
To get a .500 season we need to go 39-14 from here
We got this.
I’m more interested in a 110 loss season
it’s a lot more likely! 42-67 now. A 110 loss season means we can win 10 more! Ha! 10-43? It could happen! At our current pace we’ll win 20 or 21 but we’re not going to keep our current pace if we trade Detmers and Soriano. But we’ll luck into some wins. 58-104? Something like that.
