About that 2-0 pitch to Neto which was a foot off the plate:
deGrom and other pitchers know the Angels are guess hitters. 2-0? They are swinging. Why throw a strike? Neto tried to check his swing but failed.

Neto is also 1-2 with a homer and walk thus far. The other guys get paid too and DeGrom is pretty damn good.
