Hey I was on the Trout’s too fat train in 2015.. I was a few years early…but vindicated? Someone check the Halos Heaven archives… but all joking aside I’d love nothing more than to see our Prodigal Son fix himself.
Thanks for the lists Charles. The one for next offseason is interesting. It implicitly documents why Naylor and Tucker were traded. Both teams apparently didn’t want to pay them the big money in the off-season and/or extend them now. Rengifo’s name has been in trade talks for the same reason I surmise. But there’s a differing level of dollars involved.
As to Trout below, I assume he is listening to whatever trainer he is working with, and he likely is on his 3rd or 4th guy given that the prior advice and work hasn’t been effective. But that’s just a guess.
Enjoy the holiday week all.
Rengifo’s contract might be around 4/60 if you were to sign him in the open market next season.
Trade The Hef ?
From the Korean media company YTN (through Google Translate):
The Angels are among 3 teams “expressing the greatest interest” in Korean INF Hyeseong Kim, “according to an official familiar with the local situation.”
Says the other teams are SD & SEA
I wouldn’t mind that signing. Kim doesn’t offer much in the way of power, but anyone who can post a .360 or better OBP with speed on the bases has a place in the lineup. The only issue I see is that he’s been almost exclusively a 2B over the past 3 seasons and his fielding at 3B has been poor, although he less than 100 inning there, so there’s room for improvement.
(I know I did this last season too, but is skinny Trout finally back???)

Best shape of his life.
I think we’ve heard this before.
But I’m looking forward to seeing this, this season.
I remember wishing that Albert would take up yoga, vegetarianism or some obscure Eastern wellness philosophy, at the apex of his mediocrity and dad-bod-itude. It would fulfill all our dreams if Mike revived himself with something similar.
I love his Christmas pics with family but I’m especially looking forward to next Christmas when he’s holding multiple 2025 baseball trophies also.
Beckham’s missed most of his last pee-wee season. Multiple flu and colds, hit his head on a coffee table (no bumpers), unknown monkey bar accident, pink eye, grounded for putting things in the toilet after he was told not to, rough-housing caused cuts and bruises and multiple calf injuries (likely a genetic defect).
I know this is a joke but what’s funny about your first sentence is Beckham randomly showed up out of nowhere in my son’s league for the last part of the season. No clue where or if he played the first part. They supposedly have friends with a kid in our league and they wanted them to play together. Pretty cool he’s there whatever the reason
