I’m a longtime Angel fan and posted often on Halos Heaven when the Reverend was running the place. Some of you might remember me. In 2010 I mostly left the online baseball world as I was hired to work for a team. I’m once again a free agent and have published WAR in Pieces, a guide to baseball’s superstat Wins above Replacement.
I break up the numbers parts with many player examples. Included are chapters on Bobby Grich and David Eckstein and sections featuring Adam Kennedy and Brendan Donnelly.
Because the 2002 Angels were the most entertaining and important team in baseball history from my biased point of view. In any case, go to the Amazon link and choose the ‘look inside’ to see the first 2 chapters, all free. You might even want to buy the rest of the book.

Solid pun. WAR and Peace might have also worked.
I’m so old that I remember when you left HH due to your secret gig. Good to see you back Chone man. You always have had great baseball insight.
Thank you guys and everyone else who bought it. Just clicked on the Amazon link to see rankings, #2 in baseball statistics! Only behind Moneyball.
Though I have not yet heard from Brad Pitt about playing me in a movie.
Thanks. I also have a link on the front of my website

Since (for me at least) the link in the story is a 500 error, Try this
Mariners? Nah, I would not have worked for a division rival. For many years I had to keep it confidential, but before the book I got permission from the team to mention it.
I worked for the Blue Jays. It’s mentioned in the book as personal background. Won’t be offering any inside info. It was a fun ride though. Especially enjoyed rooting for a Vladimir Guerrero again.
The Vernon wells trade was in 2011. Can we tar and feather you for fleecing the idiotic Angels management?
😂😂😂
Thanks Sean
This looks awesome man. Good job.
Glad to have you back in the fold. I’ll definitely pick up a copy.
So cool! Glad to see you back.
I believe you were hired by the Mariners, no?
