3-2 Angels
Caden Dana is a Halo through and through. He understands that the most important thing to this franchise is not a World Series win or even a positive season record. No. The Angels are an organization predicated solely on the suffering of Pacific Northwesterners.
The man got the callup to be the youngest Angels pitcher to make a start (and collect a win) since the 70s and was fire, twirling 6 innings of 2-run ball with 4 strikeouts. You might try to counteroffer that the Mariners literally have the worst offense in baseball, but this is a dude who literally can’t even drink yet so your reservations mean as much to me as I do to the cosmos.
On the other side, Taylor Ward led off the game with a bomb off the second pitch of the bottom of the 1st, and Anthony Rendon handed a W to our fresh righty stud with a 2-run single to give the Angels yet another come-from-behind victory against Seattle.
This is why we turn on the TV every day. It’s not for the walkoffs or the big dongs or the injury list stints or any of that. We are die-hard fans of misery’s company. See you next year, M’s.
