The Overslot pool is now at $2.8 Million with the Comp Pick ( Johnson ) the 3rd rounder ( Prager) and late rounds 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18, 19 & 20 still remaining which includes the 2 high schoolers Gregory-Alford & Gatwood) with College Commitments

Surprised that Gordon got so much. Largely unranked guy with middling performance, and little leverage. Has had control issues, and trouble keeping the ball in the park.

Day 3 profile, maybe a UDFA, had the Angels not selected him in the 4th. I thought they’d give him $200k honestly.

But I doubt Johnson & Prager are going to go that much over slot and it would be stupid to pay Alford a $2 million bonus so what is Arte just going to pocket the bonus and penalty savings?

As bad as the Angelsfarm system is that would be a waste and poor planning

For the love of all things logical, why does Ward continue to bat 3rd?

Turned it off after the 3 run homer. Pointless. Empty. Existential despair.

It was starting to look like a comedy of errors in the later innings.

Well, at least Neto and Schanuel had a night. Nice to see them getting those averages in a more respectable spot.

Can Ward and Drury get any worse at hitting? We were counting on those two guys this year. What a let down. Trade Ward asap, Drury looks done career wise so nobody wants him.

Both huge disappointments. Good thing we weren’t trying to win this year.

Matt Moore doesn’t want to move again mid season. It’s a pain in the ass.

So he took matters into his own hands.

I mean, it’s not completely improbable. Moving in the middle of July is horrid. And imagine getting traded to a humid city. I’d simply melt into the dirt.

So release his ass so he can go home to bug ridden and humid Florida

He’s costing himself money for next year though.

We’ve now lost 4 straight to OAK and they’ve outscored us 30-8 over those 4.

This is…
