Loup’s high BABIP against isn’t luck.
He doesn’t get swings and misses. Guys stay alive fouling balls off until they get one they hit.
I felt torn between wanting Loup to fail so that Angels can DFA him tonight but didn’t want him to give up additional runs to make the game closer. Angels won, which is good, but Loup lingers on so that he can torment us again next time he pitches.
He lives to pitch another day
Unfortunately for us. He will continue to torment and haunt us.

Has Loup pitched in a game this season and not given up some other pitchers run(s) or his own?
Without looking up from Baseball Reference, I cannot recall any game that he did not give at least a run.
he has not allowed a run to score in only 3 of the 13 games he has pitched in this season.
We knew he’d give up one.
Hopefully only that one.
5 runs is not enough of a lead to bring no in Loup! And there you go.
