Interesting situation for the last starter.
Canning looks a lot better than Davidson. He’s earning the gig.
Tons of players get passed through waivers the last few days of the off season. I think Davidson would clear waivers and wind up in AAA.
Canning now in the lead to make the team.
Small lean to Davidson is my pick…Can, can use some seasoning after missing a year of pitching, get his legs back.
I’m worried about Anderson’s TWO innings of spring work. We might need both Canning AND Davidson.
Apparently he pitched in a minor league game last Wednesday during the Angels off day
Davidson got hit hard in his last start. I actually like him as a lefty but I want to see how he performs in his next spring training start.
