I have a question. If a pitcher has used his two pickoff attempts does he then have to come home?
I’m picturing a runner taking off for 2nd as soon as the pitcher is on the rubber.
Pitcher may attempt another pick off move, but he has to be successful, or the runner is put on second. Not sure if this counts as a steal though.
Runner not put on second, but a ball is called on the pitcher.
