Errors
While Lotto Five is still alive, we know just enough to of how to win to curtail such an embarrassment.
I like watching our Soto more than the Pad’s Soto play.
Wouldn’t it be crazy if he turned out to be the answer to our MI problem.
Well. ………… it’s not like we are not used to this. Get that draft pick and regroup for next season. Yet, I’ll be at the stadium next Wednesday to catch another game before the season ends, and my kids school band is going to play.
Mayers gave up yet another home run. Mayers doing Mayers things.
We’d like to blame Mayers, but we couldn’t score a run past the 3rd.
And brutal at the same time. I volunteered to write up tomorrow. I hope they give me something to work with.
96 loss season still in play!
We make losing look so easy.
Except when it comes to losing enough for the lottery.
You have to work REALLY hard to suck enough to be in the bottom 5. It’s a commitment that takes year long focus. You have to start shedding talent in November and then ditch more in July. You have to spend NO MONEY. None. If you put out even a little effort as an org, the way the Rockies, Marlins and Royals do, you are doomed to not fail. You have to take on teams like the Reds and Pirates here, it’s serious.
That’s what makes Detroit so special. There owner paid Cabrera, still went out and showed his commitment to winning by signing a bunch of FAs, AND built a really good farm…. and poop. It’s pretty amazing.
Yes, we are bad at losing enough. Hard to do with Trout and Ohtani on the team.
