The Angels are an average team that will probably win about 80 games this year. Anything extra is gravy.

True. But I do think we need to be concerned about the Astros. The cheating dwarf has returned to their lineup and they appear to have recovered their mojo. Verlander is still Verlander and they are winning today 4-0 already.

Slumps happen. It’s part of baseball. Still – it’s not fun. This team will score runs again – hopefully starting tomorrow. Hopefully they win the next two and finish the road trip strong!
Ah…. finally the first big roadblock of the season. Let’s see how our boys handle a dose of slump losing. If they pull it together and bounce back strong for more than a couple games (and if our pitching doesn’t get a case of the sads and start sucking) then I’ll be more excited about our long term prospects.
