Dodgers showing SF who’s boss tonight. Wondering if this is 1960 redux where the Yanks win their games bu multiple ens but Bucs when the close ones, including the Game 7 10-9 walkoff by Maz
When your top drafted & development players since the 2009 draft are Kole Calhoun, Jared Walsh & David Fletcher its easy to covet other teams programs.
Actually it’s not even close organizationally. Dodgers have a deep, well staffed Baseball Organization all overseen by the brilliant Friedman. This includes well funded and staffed scouting, international scouting, player development, strength and conditioning, analytics etc. Decisions on drafting, free agent acquisitions etc are made by scores of baseball people working together and overseen by Friedman’s watchful and skillful eyes.
The Angels have a marketing department and a GM. Arte and his gang (Kuhl and Carpino) have no baseball experience and yet weigh in on baseball decisions applying a marketing eye.
I only saw one angle. From the one I saw I thought it hit the webbing and bounced up a bit but I’m sure I’ll see another one later which shows different.
It’s further proof that instant replay in all sports is just meant to make us angry and create controversy. Would love to hear the reasoning why this isn’t a reviewable play.
Chicago loaded up against the AL Central and the NL Central, going 20 games over. For the rest of the season, against all other AL teams they were 4 over at 35-31.
I’ve said this a while ago back in August, Houston is looking deadly. I’m a Giants fan but a rematch of Dodgers-Astros would be stellar from theatrical perspective.
White Sox imploded in September, sloppy baseball, pitching weakened.
This love of Pujols sickens me. I doubt they’d be cheering so loud if they were the ones paying off his $240 million contract.
Serious brain fades. I have Dodger fan friends who ask me, why don’t you like Puljos?
The for Pujols is so loud because The ANGELS paid out the 240 million.
They’re filling the role of “fun aunt/uncle”
Would be completely different if they suffered daily for ten years raising him, lol. Absolutely correct.

Dodgers bullpen is unreal
Yeah, i’m coveting it now too 😉
Ha! No kidding

Mike Trout?
But yes – I agree.

There is no comparison.
that’s a depressing post to read but so true. I love Arte but please get out of the way and let Baseball people run the Baseball team.
Imagine a bullpen full of Raisel Iglesias quality arms 🤤
Maybe only a couple of the Dodger bullpen arms are home grown so there is still hope for the Halos who struggle to develop.
Dodgers Organization > Angel Organization
Friedman as head of Baseball Operations is superb.
It hurts to applaud that team but that is just so damn true.
I’ll miss the back and forth banter between that LaRussa and Baker displayed in their series. Old fashion baseball, managers with mood.
Managers are taking pitchers our really early now. That’s it for Buehler.
Tough call by ump on 3-2 count gets Buehler out of game as he was already laboring.
Nice HR, then good catch by Betts.
7th time the Doyers faced Desclafani….THIS YEAR!
I bet they wish they could face him every game.
Little Yaz is hitless
Got a bad feeling about this game.
4-0 Giants
9-2 Doyer
1-0 Giants
9-2 Doyer tonight……
it’s looking like that
Not ready for this series to end.
If the Giants win tonight then there’s nothing until when? the weekend?
Friday ALCS GM 1
thanks
One of the worst calls I’ve ever seen in a game. The foul ball in the braves game. UNREAL!!!!
I just got back. what happened?
Why Luis Urías’ questionable catch was not a reviewable play

I thought the ball hit the webbing.
It hit the ground first.

different angle looks different! Nice scoop.
Fever dream of mine:
Trevor Bauer and Blake Treinen in a do-it-yourself Ox-Bow Incident.
Brewers – Braves, no team has scored more than 3 runs in one game. NL style baseball.
I need a psychiatrist.
It occurs to me that I would prefer Houston over Boston. Furthermore I’d prefer Houston over the Dodgers.
At least I’d want any of the other NL teams over any of the remaining AL teams….but still, I should make an appointment with a professional.
I hope this helps, because you absolutely need help

Any witch doctors or Shamans on the list?
If you go…forward me the diagnosis…same preference.
whomever wins, it is clear, Tim Anderson is a fine hitter
Time to get some runs, Yimi Garcia is in. Here’s a chance.
Ah, here comes the sign stealing accuser, Tepera. Let’s see if he can walk the walk.
Gavin Sheets is having a good game, but it’s going to take more than just him.

Houston is looking like they will win. Kyle Tucker was just running wild on the bases. CWS looking kind of ineffective at the moment.
Now the numbskulls are about to load ’em up for Yordan Alvarez.
Oh! Even worse.
