To be honest the way the Angels pursued FA relievers this year I can’t blame them for not wanting to play all out for us. It was basically well, you haven’t signed with anyone. Here’s a roster spot and a million bucks. It’s better than a NRSI. They just were going to go after whoever fell, they never pursued him IMO.
The Angels are just a tire fire. Would it really be that bad to add another fire and just sign Bauer for cheap? Maybe he can tell Arte he changes for realz this time and he will never do cocaine…. I mean beat up women again.
I’d keep Selman out there, under the same principle of when your dad caught you smoking cigarettes and made you smoke a whole pack until you’d learned your lesson.
