So – win tomorrow and it’s 4-6 against really tough competition. I think that would be reasonable (was hoping for 5-5).

Iglesias stance looks like one of those benchwarmer kids in the bad news Bears.

Thanks for walking Stassi, when it doesn’t help.

I consider myself lucky that my phone is about to run out of juice and won’t be charged until the game’s over

This announcer is losing me when the discussion turns to him asking who Gooby‘s favorite Astro is.

Even I can go over that. I just wish they wouldn’t talk about it. Who cares. Now least favorite Astro, that’s another story.

Gosh it sure would be HORRIBLE if Mayers hit Correa in the face here.

Mayers almost gives up a 3rd HR to Meyers.

I wonder how often “injury-plagued career” will show up when people write about Trout’s legacy?

How about always playing on a crappy team plagued.

THAT will always show up. “Despite his HoF numbers, the teams he played on were weak, and he only played 3 games in the playoffs.”

Why is Mayer’s face and neck always so red? I guess he’s a redneck.

Plumber Update: ADEE definitely Do tonight! Starting at 2B IN SL, Stefanic has had another 3 hit game including 2 HR’s raising his AAA average to .338. Come on Perry its time to jettison Rengifo off of the 40 man and get the Mikey Stefanic era underway

I say it was me. I called it the inning before Joe went to the bullpen.

Perhaps Joe doesn’t understand the 3 batter minimum. Maybe he thinks it means “must get 3 outs”

Cowboy26

it would be infinity batters minimum then

If any of the Pieces of Shit Slegers ,Cishek, Selman, Mayers or Guerra are on our major league roster next year I’m on turning this off. My time is too valuable to watch every game being destroyed by these assholes.

Still don’t think this is Joe’s problem. When the players are sucking, it ain’t the managers fault.

Just like I said below. A manager has to use the pitchers the GM and/or POBO gives him. How much and when is usually his decision, but they will have to be used.

Agreed. We don’t really have anybody else.

Yes, but when a guy loads the bases with no outs like he did, in a still close game, you have to go with someone else. And then after the slam, leaving him in is crazy

Well, that is a point you can make. Of course he never should have been in there to begin with. And, whomever he brings it, do you really think they wouldn’t have given up runs ??

Maybe it would not have been a Grand Slam, but the Astros were going to score runs there with the bases loaded, whoever we brought in short of Raisel, who obviously would not have come in right there….
