It is false news that Albert ever won a lawsuit over the accusation of using PEDS. Jack Clark accuses Pujols of using Steroids and Albert sued him for saying that with no proof and they settled out of court rather than go to court for defamation of character as Jack Clark then stated as was agreed to that Albert did not use. Players off the record have said different, but just look at the the numbers. The list is hundreds of players that used and were not tested, so does that mean you if fact used only if caught? Do you really believe that the greatest players to ever play only played from 1994 to 2014?
If Clark was so sure Albert used then why settle out of court? Prove your case. Stand by your word. Now Clark’s character is impugned because he didn’t stand by his original remarks.
My complaint was that YOU accused him here without proof.
You are basing your argument on the fact that many players used during that era and that Albert has historically great numbers. That is a pretty flimsy argument for his using.
And BTW bodies do change over time, particularly with the sophisticated planning of diet, high protein intake and workout regimens.
Steroids are not the only way to put on muscle mass. Hopefully you know that, but maybe you don’t.

Not that I know of, and I’ve long seen those who’ve accused him of being in the A-Fraud/McGwire/Sosa/Bonds club as being haters.
I think he won a libel lawsuit against a player who accused him.
Albert has vemititly has died the use of PRDS, but just look at his doing things never done before and look at his pictures. Just because he never was caught under MLB weak enforcement and the fact Selig looked the other way for so long. At one time only three players whose name was drawn from the 40 man roster were allowed to be tested.
We know A-rod used PED’s because he had a positive test — we don’t know that about Albert.
ARod also first denied it then admitted that he used o daytime talk show then said he didn’t use followed by being caught twice. Sosa never tested dirty, McGwire never tested dirty, But if you want to believe all cheaters were caught that is just fine.
So if you didn’t test positive you never used steroids? Right now there are 4 steroid users that are in the only because they didn’t test positive.
So when there was much smaller ballparks no one, not Gehrig nor Foxx no one ever did wait Albert did in his first ten years. l know it’s just a coincidence that Albert played with McGwire and Albert just came out of nowhere.
Look at pictures of Albert when he arrived to his first Spring Training with us and then look at him 6 years later, then tell me no juice was involved.
Again coincidence that it is mostly , not exclusive, players that juice.
And no one prior to 2004 really knows who juiced, but do the smell test and look at what they did and the records that were broke.
Let’s just be responsible here.
We don’t know for certain that Albert used because there is no proof. He has won lawsuits against accusers. And guess what the only real defense against a slander or libel lawsuit is : the truth.
All that said, it does not guarantee that Albert never used PED’s. I just don’t think you should go around accusing people without proof.
and we know that Mays lost time in the service but still, 660 HRs is a pretty cool achievement.
The one that always gets me: Ted Williams. Missed his years when he was 24, 25, 26 to the service. Still ended up with 521 HRs. Hit .406 in 1941. My vote for the greatest hitter ever.
