Angels at A’s 07/26/2020 Gamethread

You know who’s back on the mound. You tuned in your TV or radio for him. Sundays are for the Sho, and Shohei Ohtani makes his return to the mound after well over a year off.

Angels Lineup: Fletcher 5, Trout 8, La Stella 4, Upton 7, Walsh 3, Simmons 6, Castro 2, Thaiss 10, Goodwin 9, Ohtani SP

A’s Lineup: Semien 6, Laureano 8, Chapman 5, Olson 3, Canha 9, Grossman 7, Machín 10, Murphy 2, Kemp 4

The Angels won the day game yesterday. Let’s remain perfect on those!

Joe can’t believe that series of weak AB’s, l will not be changing my mind on Eppler anytime soon. Trout, Fletcher, Simba and Rendon after that all trade bait. Should have got rid of Goodwin and LaStella after career years and ate some of Upton’s salary and sent him packing. As for pitching it is just a whole bunch of waiver wire prayers.

He’s gonna fool Soggy Joe into letting him pitch in high leverage situations with men on base

He’s been on the team the third longest right?

Does anyone know how many games need to pass for his service time to not start this season? I think he’ll be up once that threshold is met.

4 runs is about as many as you can hope with this lineup

So without Trout, negative runs?

Or a shutout. With no Rendon or Ohtani or Adell this lineup is lacking

The offense has been walking dead since Andriese exited the game.

Offense has been walking dead from Upton until Goodwin all game. 9, 1 and 2 doing all the work
