It’s surprising they weren’t able to throw him out

Well, there was no one at first. But yeah, they probably could have still beat him to the bag. Pujols seemed happy though, like with his SB last year. At least he hustled it out.

I wonder how the established big league guys feel about playing behind a journeyman reliever blowing the game.

Probably frustrated

I don’t know. Has to be a blow to one’s confidence when your veteran OF can’t reach the ball a foot from his glove (though to be fair, seems like he lost it in the sun at the last minute).

I have the feeling we won’t be seeing much of Neil Ramirez in the big leagues this season.

Neil Rodriguez is pitching himself right out of the Angels organization.

That happened to us once, and now he is the best reliever in the Bigs. Arte won’t be fooled twice.

I really hope so, too! Unfortunately, I don’t believe that it wasn’t. :/

It’s Spring Training

Better he pull a hammy, or require TJS

Let’s talk about his hitting. Lead off double today, and that gapper, a placed hit of beauty, yesterday. My son was amazed by the swing of Adams the AB before that hit, and was blown away by the professional approach of Brian’s AB.
He placed that hit, and did the same in the RF corner today.

He is not here trying to take the ST Championship away from the Mariners.

He’s had a nice approach thus far in ST for sure. That being said, perspective is important, and hitters are so much further ahead of pitchers at this point.

I understand the perspective part, but Brian is just, placing them, where they ain’t right now, and that is skill no mater what.

Yes this is just advanced BP right now, he doesn’t know where the location of the pitch will be, but it does take patience to hit like this.

Luis Rengifo proving his value to the Angels with a nice bunt. That’ll make up for not having Pederson or Stripling!
