Well I predicted this weeks ago, a World Series of Rays vs Dodgers (look it up). At times I missed on some series such as going 5-3 in the first round, 3-1 in the second round, 2-0 in the last Championship rounds but here we are on the top round, all the marbles. Two teams with great pitching and defense and the only difference other than payroll is in superstars. The Dodgers have an over the top abundance of Superstars in Kershaw, Bellinger, Seager, and Betts Ok so the shine on one is dulling a bit. So I will say Dodgers in 6 and then it’s over, our short season with crazy rules and Superballs that fly forever in stadiums nobody can say they were at, crowd noise from no crowd and from only warm weather stadiums in the wild west. And it all takes place during a Covid outbreak. While it would seem that maybe half who post here do not have the welcome mat out for one team and are rooting for the other here is a fan that prefers good things to happen to both teams and the Dodgers win in 7 games starting tonight at 5pm PDT. I believe that the fielding plays in this series will blow us away with how spectacular they are with awesome pitching and lots of Manfred Balls flying out f the stadium all equaling a fun packed series, hope your team wins.
Picking the Dodgers to win it all and being right is not a great achievement by the way. At the beginning of the season they were big favorites, and now they are big favorites to beat the Rays;: (per Vegas)
Rooting for the Rays. Typically default to the team that has won it longer ago of the two, or in this case, the team that has never one it. Also, so tired of the Dodgers.
We are having company in the house. I have a grandson on my lap, keyboard in the air. My son in law say the announcer likes the Braves. Now he knows nothing about Baseball, l just thought it so telling. Now the Braves have a lead and Smoutzie is happy. Funny Stuff l thought l’d share..

I saw Joe Morgan at LAX years ago. He was wearing a three-piece suit, pulling a small, wheeled suitcase. I wanted to yell out to him, “Can you teach Howie Kendrick how to hit an away change-up?” but I thought better of it.
I’d offer the job to John Smoltz to see if he was interested. Dude is smart and knows how to evaluate talent, and maybe Arte would be star-struck enough to let him do his job.
Based on that article, I would lean towards White. His track record is impressive, and we need someone who can evaluate talent (rather than taking players and just moving them around hoping they stick somewhere). I like his 4-2 rule for pitching (for every two you need, you draft 4 (assuming two will not make it) and his lean towards getting more pitching in this era of Tommy John surgeries. He should also be good with international signings (especially pitching from Japan/Korea) based on his previous signings.
So what’s Arturo gonna do if the Big Blue and White Godzilla wins the WS?
Sign another big name hitter, hire the Cincinnati Reds asst GM ( another inexperienced 40 yr old who he can bully and not respect and then fire 3 yrs later ), He’ll continue to be a flea on the Dodger’s rear end until he does something different while approaching former Clipper’s owner Donald Sterling status in this community. 😫
So later today after Football we will see the National League Championship go a full 7 games. While we here at our Casa will be rooting for the Blue it is no big deal if the Braves take the NL Series. Either way it will be interesting to see if the Little Engine that could, can in the WS. Rays vs Goliath or something like that. But today may the best team win. Gawd I love Baseball!
The Rays had a tough fight with Trashstros alright, but their journey has been fun to follow. I only was familiar with a few names on the team where as now I feel that those guys are like the misfit toys and are going to come out ahead while converting more than just a few to start rooting for them. Thank you Rays and your pitching staff for being better than the team America loves to hate, especially the Human Gnome, the leader of the pack..
Asstros are exactly why having so many teams qualify for a tournament style playoff system in MLB. A team catches fire, even with a losing record, can win the whole thing. The TV ratings are going to be dismal at best in the WS if it comes down to Atl vs either TB or Houst. Well Manfred is just a genius in figuring this silly assed crap out. TB vs Asstros is really going to suck. Now get off my grass.
Morton going against his old team again, oh boy. Go Rays. Can the 2020 Strange continue? A WS with Dodgers vs Cheaters repeat? We will know after tomorrow.
Dodgers/Braves Game 6: Joe Buck continues to be a 3rd rate play by play guy; Smoltz is so biased for the Braves it’s nauseating. But I will say this for Smoltz: he’s boring as fuck. (October) Tom Verducci calling the game by himself would be so much better, but of course: the audience is mostly morons*, so no way.
*Mike Salmon may be a member of that set of morons, which would be: irony!
Usually agree with you but not on this one. Joe Buck I guess is a very polarizing announcing figure but I like him and appreciate how unbiased that Smoltz has been over all, but on to game 7. Buck is going into the NFL HoF for announcing and like his father before him he is capable of doing more than one sport and doing it first rate. But I will admit I liked when he teamed with McCarver as they worked well together.

Dodgers (-195) to win the series.

They opened at -195.

I think that’s right.

Thank goodness the Rays did not buttercup the ALCS! Did you see the troll job the Rangers gave the Asterisks?
Rangers Troll the Astros 😆Texas had the perfect response to seeing their in-state rival drop Game 7 📸 (@Rangers)

Allow me to burn my October F bomb and say FUCK THE ASTROS
the fun things is the Astros hate won’t let up next season or the season after. They’re forever branded as cheaters.
Thinking about driving up to an Astros Mariners game sometime next year just to boo.
I’ve got to drive up there for an Angels-Mariners game.
Oh thank god. And Odin. And flying spaghetti monster.
Yes!!!!
Go home Trashtroes!!
Win this here Rays.
Go Rays!!!
Though I am a bit tired of the Rays having to clean up our mess…
Had we won 3 more, the Asterisks wouldn’t have been in the playoffs.
I’m a bit nervous about the AL game. I don’t think any lead is safe until it’s final
Arozurena!
Zunino!
EFFFFF the effing Houston Cheaters.

What is ESPN? 4th rate?
