Right before the game, the Mariners were eliminated from postseason contention. It was yet another year that the Mariners were eliminated in the final series and their fans are ultra disappointed as they actually had expectations this time. Hell, the Mariners had the best odds in the AL West as late as July. Their collapse is hilarious.
Too bad the Angels were even worse. I get the whole tank thing but the lottery makes this all a gamble anyway. Whatever. It was G-Rod today. He went 5 innings giving up 4 runs (3 earned) on z hits striking out k and walking B. That wild pitch was unfortunate.

Angels scored first with a Moore rbi single in the 2nd.
Too bad Julio hot a 2 run BOMB to give the Mariners the lead in the bottom of the 2nd.
And G-Rod allowed another run in the 2nd.
But the Angels crawled back with an rbi groundout in the 5th.
And a Neto rbi single right after.
But a wild pitch in the bottom of the 5th gave the Mariners the lead again.
However in the 6th, Moore came through with a 2 rbi double!
Would have been more but the Mariners caught the ball. Boo.
The Angels did score again in the 8th as Teodosio blooped in a run.
Joyce was out for the season. So today it was up to Watson to save it and get the Angels closer to that 63rd win. He pulled it off! ANGELS WIN!
