I watched SLC Bees last night. Huge crowd. They don’t play fundamental baseball as well as the Angels.

Over half the team is older than most of the Angels. I can understand stashing 4-5 AAAA players there in case of an injury. Perhaps, 1 catcher, 1 outfielder, 1 starter, and 1 reliever. But if you are not using the “farm” to raise up your prospects, even though they might be 1 level over their talent, then your AAA team is just a “stopover warehouse” on the way to a retirement home.

I did think we’d score with the bases loaded because if we *had* we’d still lose. The logic there is that if it doesn’t matter we’ll do something good. But not this time

Did Silseth make a pass at Moz’ daughter or something? Shaun Anderson, Ryan Watson….. Angel Arredondo doesn’t even look like a prospect let alone a “top 10” prospect.

I’m more upset that O’Hoppe played himself into as a throw in with that trade. Wish we could have sent him down to work on his game instead of turning Marsch into a 19 year old lottery ball.

As Moz said recently, “we need to figure out what the leadership of this club is going to look like going forward”, among other things. I have never seen a team whose players are older than 12, make the mistakes that this team makes on a regular basis that you would not allow 12 year olds to make.

Can’t really have player leadership when the manager and coaches don’t help out. What did it for me was Soler hitting into a double play because he jogged down to first and Eaton patting him on the butt like it’s ok man.
