GRod starts tomorrow. Everyone in the league knows he is a fly ball pitcher. If Suzuki starts his 3 plow mules in the outfield and not the racehorses – he is in on the “tank.”

Back in the 1950’s, the Houston Buffalos had a “clinic” for kids. I went I don’t know who the player was (I think it was Ken Boyer), but he said, “No matter what position you play on the infield, after a ball is hit, you will get no one out at your fielding position. So cover a bag. You have 4 infielders. There is no excuse for a base to not be covered.”

Partly its on the players but then it’s also on the coaches. Angels don’t even think things through to their logical conclusion. Just recently they had Neto and Grissom positioned in a way where they couldn’t turn a double play when a ball was hit just a bit to Neto’s right because Grissom was so far from 2nd. They let their OF play so deep that the Angels announcers and opposing announcers are befuddled by their stupidity.

If we are going to trade for all of other teams failed prospects like Peraza, Grissom and Ballesteros, shouldn’t we maybe like make sure we have really good coaches to work with them instead of oh you used to be a good hitter on steroids 20+ years ago.

Hasn’t he been horrible since May? So bad he got sent down, then didn’t hit in the minors and now they eye ball test still says not so great player. I say 3 and a half months.

Different people see different things in a game. My first ??? was why on 7th pitch to Sanoja that was called a ball but was a strike – got no challenge (2nd out). Then nobody (Probably Neto) fails to cover 3rd. You can’t expect a pitcher to get 5 outs per inning.

Angels easily worst coached team in the majors. Marsee makes a nice catch and saves 3 runs, I haven’t seen it yet, but why is it that I am 90% sure Trout doesn’t catch it?

Can you guys imagine how much of our rebuild would already have been accomplished if they took Griffin instead of Moore and Anderson instead of Bremner. Man why did it take so f’ing long for Arte to fire Perry.
