It defies logic to have the person on the team least capable of making consistent contact continually bat leadoff. Its the most 2020’s era Angels move of all time

The batting coach needs to remind Neto that the object of the game is to actually make contact with the ball using your bat.

It’s very hard to stay interested or root for such a lackluster group with such little talent with a manager who won’t even put the best players on the field. I’m not upset, I’m just bored out of my mind. I’d rather watch other teams so I can see people playing baseball.

Especially to the Cubs yes who are a fun watch. The Brewers are also a great club to root for. Oddly enough they now embody a lot of the Oregon State way throughout their organization. Caoch Casey has been consulting with them the past few years. Contact prioritization.. speed.. moving runners with QAB’s, defensive attention to detail and throwing strikes all core pillars. Seems like Mo is starting to bring some of that here. Long overdue.
