Man. Baltimore jumped out in front in the first inning with a 1-0 lead.
In the fourth inning, Coby Mayo Homered to make it 4-0 in favor of the Orioles. In the fifth inning Pete Alonso sacrificed in another run to make it 5-0 Orioles. That was it for Aldegheri. Jose Fermin came in to pitch. He got the last out of the fifth but in the sixth, Tyler O’Neill was out at the plate on a fielder’s choice by Jeremiah Jackson (after an Angels challenge).
Taylor Ward scored in the seventh inning on a Gunnar Henderson triple. 6-0 Orioles.
Then Kirby Yates came in to pitch the top of the ninth. He struck out two but then Gunnar Henderson reached on a single to second. Pete Alonso also struck out.
Jorge Soler homered in the ninth to put an end to the shutout. 6-1 Orioles. Sorry. Can’t find a proper video of the homer.
Wade Meckler flied out and Denzer Guzman grounded out. Donovan Walton struck out. The Angels drop this one 6-1 to the Orioles.
