He’s been in MILB camp a couple of weeks, and he said today they will get their assignments this weekend. Not sure if he’s got additional innings in minor league spring training games.

If they are still planning to stretch him out, I’d expect A+ Tri-City would be the assignment. If he’s in the pen, he could probably head straight to Arkansas.

FB velo at 95-98 most of his outing. That’ll do.
As I said most of last year, I’m more keen on Jordan (and Soto) than TGA at this point, as I think they have a more direct path to the MLB, and strength gains could accelerate their progress.
TGA still has a lot of relief risk to me, even if there’s Klassen-like upside there with a little squinting.

So either the Angels draft sign the stupidest morons to play baseball or they have the worst coaching in the league. Probably both. Rada drops a bunt single to start the game. Guy can steal bases easily, maybe give him a pitch, but nah lets swing away into a double play. But that isn’t even that bad.
This Gobbel guy swung at a pitch that the catcher had already caught on a hit and run. Like he looked like a bad coach pitch player.
Then Flores hits a double down the line with 2 outs and gets thrown out at 3rd base by so much that he decides to just stop running.
Like you can’t teach this level of dumb.

yea ok I understand that one maybe, but Gobbel looks like he’s in a celebrity softball game, and I’ve never seen a guy get thrown out at 3rd with 2 outs by that much like Flores did.

Gobbel isn’t a real prospect (speaks to our lack of positional depth in the farm).
The Flores gaffe was hysterical. The camera panned to 2nd base and I didn’t see Flores… because he was already on his way to getting thrown out at 3rd 😂😂😂
