He totally screwed Ward in that AB with the bases loaded.

Zeph with the 1, 2, 3 inning. Could get used to that.

Fermin throwing lasers out there. Seems to be getting more comfortable each appearance. Nasty if he can command .

They need somebody they can rely on to pitch the 7th inning.

Yup. He might could be the guy. Bachman should be up soon as well, right? He’ll immediately get hurt again though…😅

Yeah, not sure I would expect anything from Bachman just yet …

He’s still staring at pitches in the middle of the plate.

What are you talking about ? None of those were “in the middle of the plate.”

The last strike was dead middle, lower section.

Lol. That was on the very bottom of the zone and a call that could have gone either way…. if you want to argue that the ump had given the pitcher anything close so he should have been protecting, I’ll give you that. But don’t say he took a pitch right down the middle, because he didn’t.

Middle of the plate, high or low, especially with 2 strikes, you gotta swing.

You are arguing the undefendable here, your negative narrative doesn’t fly.

It’s not a narrative. It’s a friggin strike with 2 strikes. Ward has been doing it all season.

Maybe Ward has issues, but that Umpire in that inning, that AB, was clueless, maybe a midge in his eye.

I mentioned already the shortcomings of this umpire. He’s crap, like a majority of the umps have been this season.

The take on 3-2 was brutal, but the count should’ve been 5-0 before that pitch lol

Sorry Ward haters, but that K was not on Taylor.

The ump screwed you, Ward. But don’t f-ing look at strike 3 with the bases loaded!

That last pitch was a ball as well… In fact, all three strikes were balls. That last one was close though…

It was above the line in the box.

Could have gone either way… Funny that the first strike was clearly a ball and called a strike… you’d think the ump would even it out. Guess not.

It was actually 21-0. The Chargers beat the Broncos by 3 TD’s.
