Wow, Kyren Paris wins the lotto today. Would not have expected that.
Good bounce-back start by Dana against some actual MLB hitters.
I remain very bullish on Rada and Denzer. Rada at leadoff eventually changes the whole dynamic of the Angels’ lineup.
Flores looks like O’Hoppe’s future backstop complement, and it might come as early as late 2026.
Still not feeling Gordon yet, but to be fair, he should get a couple years to learn the ropes.
Some of the reserves, like Davis, Kieboom and Kavadas seem to be actively weeding themselves out. Even with Anderson’s strong day, still not loving his approach in the box.
Gutty hold by Keythel Key. Definitely a challenge statement from Washington to make him go the distance.
Paris had a huge Home Run in Minute Maid last year so hes already demonstrated some clutchiness. Not sure how good his defense is but I would love to see him break out.
TA has always hit Left Handers much better but His approach against everyone else this spring has not been encouraging.
Kyren was very, very young when drafted, but he’s also been in the system for six years now, and will be repeating AA for a fourth season in ’25, so methinks the rope is getting short.
Amazing to think he’s still only 23, and he definitely had a case through 2022, but I think it’s only the lack of middle infield depth at this point that’s keeping him in play. His glove is definitely, well, variable – the tool is there, but I’ve seen him make some very low probability plays while butchering some routine ones.
As much as I love Taylor Ward, if Lugo can produce close to Ward levels and allow Perry to trade Ward for prospects, that would be big for the next couple of years.
RIP Gene Hackman (Born in San Bernardino)
Unfortunately, we will be hearing a lot of ugly things about his family’s demise.
Far too many good roles to count. Some of my favorites are Cisco Pike, The Conversation, Night Moves and the Royal Tenenbaums.
One of my favorite roles and scene from Mississippi Burning .

Popeye Doyle one of the great early anti-heros. Racist pri*k, but Hackman was so good he made him likeable. RIP Coach Dale.
Split Squad Tomorrow kids.
Game 2 is a nitecap matchup that should include a Kikuchi vs, Unicorn showdown.

I forgot Mason Erla exists… silly me. He’s kind of like Kent. Not exciting, but also not useless.
Just another Angels Tie!
Flash that Halo once!
Paris Je t’aime! Lets go Kyren.

Crouse Party II
Anaheim Jammi Jam
Big fan of Crouse. Same last name as me (sort of)
He definitely seems poised to pick up from last year. Stuff and arm slot are nasty.
He was good last year
SuperHans.
My last name as well but he spells it horribly wrong haha
LOL. It sounds the same as mine but a K instead of a C and no o but an a.
Close enough for free tickets?
I’m the same as you
Caden Dana being the 5th starter is very possible
His command was on point. Impressive 3 scoreless.
And most important, 3 innings and ZERO walks !!
Amen. Walks are the enemy. Easy to forgive giving up 30HR a year if they are all solo shots.
Kingery with the Jeter through. 👏
This Lugo kid looks good.
too bad he cant play Center.
For sure. I jinxed him the 2nd ab…
