what is Trout waiting for to request a trade? I used to feel bad for him but now I know he had to always know Arte was a cheapskate. All the stories coming out about like Pujol’s rehab equipment. Him not even paying for breakfast…. Enjoy being in CF on a 100 loss team.
Should the Angels entertain deals for like Detmers even? Like they only have him for 3 more years. It’s really hard to see the Angels be competitive in that timeframe. Have to imagine they could get a lot of depth for him.
Checking on the minor leagues, with the Angels taking all pitchers, I don’t see like any guys in full season ball that are doing well. Maybe Rada pans out but man he’s struggling. The rest of them are just playing baseball so that real prospects on other teams have someone to play against. It’s sad.
I see they released Maitan last year. Man the guys making the decisions have to be so bad. I was excited to see him play in low A right after the Angels signed him. I have never had my expectations slashed so much after watching a guy play in person just 1 day. He didn’t even look better than some guys playing coed softball…. Had absolutely no game sense. Said right then and there he would never advance past AA. Sure enough….

A month into the season Mike Trout is hitting 223.322.563 and Jo Adell is hitting .333.392.600. Who called that? Happy to see Jo succeeding.

Why would you have high hopes? The team won 73 games the last 2 seasons with Ohtani who left and wasn’t replaced to any extent.
True but It’s baseball, sometimes things can roll your way. I’m sure you wish you put a hundred+ spot on Arizona to make the WS last year.
