Probably. He was the bullpen coach after Mickey Callaway got sacked. He was a pitcher in the minors. Injury prevented him from ever making it to the majors as a player.

I’m assuming the Wise-Demise is coming with the new manager bringing in his guy?
I know PTP has a lot to do with that decision, but if we don’t move on from Mr. Wise if for no other reason “it’s time for a new voice”……I don’t want to hear about the pitcher’s love and admiration for him. Liking the guy doesn’t make him an effective coach……I’d say do the opposite, find a guy they don’t like, and see if we get a better result. I know it’s a tough gig as the Angels pitching coach, but I’m seeing any development in our guys. Steps forward are few and far between, and almost always followed by regression or complete stagnation.

Good morning, Rangers win the pennant-Rangers win the pennant!!!!! Well, I sure hope so. Good heaven how I hate the Asstros, And especially the human gnome.
I have actually turned off Fox Sports 1 because of the pre-game group. Matty V and Jeter are very good at being professionals and putting up with ARod and Papi talking about Altuve going into the HOF. Oh, how the players and writers have ruined the trust and confidence I had in MLB and add in Manfraud giving passes to the cheating players and then stating that he needed to do that to get to the truth.
Arizona or Philly? If I had to pick, I would claim to not care, because I really don’t care. But it would be fun to see a team with a bunch of young talent win. But the player that I thought would be a star, Marsh, is on the Phillies-so there is that. May the best team win.
Rangers and Phillies hopefully. Than I root for the Phillies.
