Is Shohei showing he is human after all and his hard play on both ends of the ball have caught up with him? Nobody has ever done what Shohei produced in a five-year run like he has with his speed, arm, power and greatness, but maybe the unicorn has landed and is run out of gas, I know that the Doyers have seemly become just another ball club.

He’s been playing injured most of the year.

I know I’m in the minority, but Kurt Suzuki is ok with me. He had a pitching coach sabotaging the bull pin, an owner sabotaging the line up, and a bunch of near rookies on the field. No one would have been successful.

“Sabotaging”, really? Harsh. One of the best pitching coaches of all time who may have contributed to the second half pitching just as much as anyone was sabotaging the team? Wow. As far as Suzuki is concerned he did at best a “C” grade with the talent given to him by PTP, but his line construction nightly was abysmal at best. What if Meck shared leading off with another player other than Neto and put Neto batting 3rd or 4th with his power rather than at the top spot, think things may have been different?

We are in line for a great WS with Rays and Brewers showcasing to small market teams which will be awesome for baseball imho. With the Dodgers bowing out in possibly 4 straight it show money does not always buy you an invite to the World Series. It takes great pitching, timely hitting abd spectacular fielding and team unity to go all the way.

Damn. If you’re Dodger fan today how to you mentally account for what’s happening to them? Actually having a teeny tiny shred of sympathy for them.

For us, we can point to reason A, B, C, D, E, F, G … X, Y, Z why we suck. There’s a reason behind it.

For them – “we need to go get a bat that can hit in the postseason” … Jeeezisss … you got three MVPs in a row, a guy with 19 postseason HR’s (Muncy), dudes that mash up and down … and they are still gettin their asses handed to them.

LOL.

Not gonna lie, though; I had fun watching that game last night.

I haven’t enjoyed watching a team playing like the Brewers are playing in a long-long time. They are beating them at baseball – and it is so fun to watch. The Dodgers are strong from top to bottom and they are taking it to them. But they are so good, this is not over. Hope the Brewers can get it done today and then they Doyers get handcuffed by new CBA. With the Brewers, the Rays and Indians all going deep in the playoffs – this is so great for baseball. I hope we can get a deal done quickly when the season is over and we don’t lose any time – as we are seeing the game can be played the right way and still be fun.

Scary thing though is if the Dodgers do finally wake up and these bats come alive. They could rip 4 in a row without question.

The Brewers though do have that magic touch right now and are poised to make a run at their first title.

I’m a bit bummed because I have a Vegas ticket for the Dodgers winning the WS
