Angels lose 7-5 Postgame

Here are the first couple of Angels runs, They resulted from a Jo Adell single and a Zach Neto double.

It didn’t really matter because the Red Sox were also allowed to score runs. It was 5-3 Red Sox aftewr five, Johnson was not so great. Fermin was better but the Angels were already losing at that point.

Boston scored two more runs off of Chase Silseth in the top of the seventh inning to make it 7-3. In the eighth inning the Angels scored another run to bring the score to 7-4.

Then in the bottom of the ninth inning Zach Neto homered to make it 7-5 against the Angels.

Denzer Guzman struck out to end the game.

Guys, we are only 9.5 games back in the wild card. We should probably get ready to be buyers at the deadline.

Good to see that the stolen base bleeding continues.

Defense continues ti kill this team. Giving up extra outs always bites them in the ass.

When I went yesterday, the ballpark was lifeless until tarps off showed up. I sat in Section 124 with a bunch of Red Sox fans, and they wished their home fans would do the same.

That’s how bad things have gotten. Red Sox and Angel fans finding common ground and bonding over bad ownership.
